Use your own domain for share pages and embeds

Studio add-on (one-time fee): video.yourbrand.com instead of kolreel.com, with HTTPS set up automatically.

Open Integrations, the Custom domain tab.

  1. Type the address you want (a subdomain such as video.yourbrand.com is best) and, optionally, where visitors of the bare address should go. Press Save.
  2. At the company that manages your domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, a local registrar...), add the record shown: a CNAME pointing to kolreel.com for a subdomain, or an A record for a bare domain. On Cloudflare set it to DNS only.
  3. Press Check DNS now. DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours.
  4. When it is correct, press Activate (one-time fee, charged to your card on file).

From then on, share links, WhatsApp messages and embed codes use your domain, and the HTTPS certificate is issued automatically on the first visit. Only your own videos are served on your domain; everything else stays on kolreel.com.
