Automate with Zapier or Make

Create videos, publish and schedule from Zapier or Make using your personal API token.

Zapier and Make talk to KolReel through the API (Creator and Studio).

1. Get a token. In Integrations, tab API & AI, create a personal token with the API scope and copy it.

2. Add a step.

Zapier: add the action Webhooks by Zapier, event Custom Request.
Make: add the module HTTP, Make a request.

In both, add the header Authorization with the value Bearer YOUR_TOKEN, and send JSON.

3. Pick what to do.

Create a video: POST https://kolreel.com/api/v1/videos with template_id, title and either audio_url (a public link to the recording) or script with narrate: true.
Check it: GET https://kolreel.com/api/v1/videos/{id} until status is ready.
Publish: POST https://kolreel.com/api/v1/videos/{id}/publish with destination (for example youtube).
Schedule: POST https://kolreel.com/api/v1/videos/{id}/schedule with destination and at.
List templates: GET https://kolreel.com/api/v1/templates.

Example: a new file in a Dropbox or Google Drive folder triggers the Zap, the Zap sends its public link as audio_url, waits a few minutes, then schedules the video to YouTube.

Keep the token secret. You can revoke it in Integrations at any time.
