Connect your AI assistant (MCP) and use the API
Studio: let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor build templates, make videos, publish and schedule for you. Creator and Studio: personal API tokens.
Connect your AI assistant (Studio). Open Integrations, the API & AI tab, and copy the MCP address (https://kolreel.com/mcp).
- Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app): Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste the address, then sign in to KolReel and press Allow.
- ChatGPT: Settings, Connectors (developer mode), Create, paste the address and choose OAuth, then sign in and Allow.
- Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code and others: add a remote MCP server with the same address. If the app asks for a token instead of signing in, create a personal token with Also for AI assistants ticked and send it as a Bearer token.
Then just ask, for example: "Make a template called Weekly Talk with yellow subtitles on a dark box", "Create a video from this recording link with this script", "Publish it to YouTube as unlisted and schedule it to Instagram on Thursday at 8pm".
What the assistant can and cannot do. It can see your templates, videos, usage and which channels are connected; create and edit your own templates; create videos (using your minutes); publish and schedule, move or cancel posts. It can not see or change billing, your plan, your account or security settings, connection passwords, and it cannot delete anything. TikTok posts from an assistant go to your TikTok drafts so you confirm them in the app. You can disconnect an AI app any time on the same tab.
Personal API tokens (Creator and Studio). Create a token on the same tab and send it as Authorization: Bearer <token>. Endpoints under https://kolreel.com/api/v1:

Tokens are shown once and stored only as a fingerprint; delete any token you no longer use.
