Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-09

These terms govern your use of KolReel. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

KolReel renders videos from recordings, scripts and templates you provide, and can upload the result to services you connect. We may change or improve features over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your email and phone up to date; sign-in codes are sent there. You are responsible for activity under your account. The free trial is limited to one per person; a new account that matches an earlier trial (same device, browser or network) starts without a trial and can subscribe right away.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the recordings, scripts, images and videos you upload or create. You grant us a licence to store and process them only as needed to provide the service. You confirm you have the rights to use the content, including music, images and voices, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or any law.

4. Acceptable use

No illegal, infringing, hateful or deceptive content; no attempts to disrupt the service, circumvent limits, or access other accounts. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

Posting to other platforms. When you publish through a connected account (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive), you are the publisher. You must follow that platform's terms, community guidelines, copyright and advertising rules, and you are responsible for the consequences of a post, including strikes, removals or account actions taken by the platform. KolReel only transmits what you ask it to. If your use of a connection causes a platform to warn, restrict or take action against KolReel's own app or API access, we may disconnect that connection or suspend your account without notice, and repeated or serious breaches may lead to termination. We may also pause or remove a connection platform-wide when its provider changes its rules.

5. Plans, trial and billing

New accounts get a free trial with the limits shown on the pricing page. Videos rendered during the trial carry a small KolReel mark in a corner; it disappears from new renders once a paid plan is active. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through the payment provider shown at checkout (PayMe, Stripe or PayPal) and renew automatically until cancelled; where a provider cannot store a payment method, we email you before each renewal and you renew with one click. Discount codes and sales apply as described when they are offered: a discount marked for the first payment only renews at the regular price. Usage limits (minutes per month, storage) are shown on the pricing page. Plan minutes reset every month on your billing date (the day of the month your plan started) and do not carry over; minutes you buy are used after the plan minutes and carry over for 12 months. Rendering a video again counts toward your minutes like a new video; the 16:9 and 9:16 versions of a video count once, but each file uses storage. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices in ILS include VAT. Receipts/invoices are issued automatically through Green Invoice.

Invite a friend. When someone signs up through your personal invitation link and starts a paid plan, both of you receive the referral discount shown on your Account page (currently a percentage off for a fixed number of billing periods). The discount applies to the invited member's first payments and to your next renewals, has no cash value, cannot be combined with another coupon on the same payment, and is withdrawn if either account is found to be created for the purpose of abusing the programme. We may change or end the programme at any time; discounts already earned are honoured.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Cancelling. You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Plan & billing (the Cancel subscription button), or by email to info@kolreel.com, by phone, or by registered mail. Automatic renewal stops right away and in any case within 3 business days of your notice; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

14 days after a purchase. Under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law you may cancel a purchase within 14 days of the purchase (or of receiving these terms in writing, if later). For a plan, we refund the part of the period you did not use, minus a cancellation fee of 5% of the price or ₪100, whichever is lower. Seniors (65 and over), people with disabilities and new immigrants who bought after a phone or chat conversation with us may cancel within 4 months. We refund within 14 days of your notice, to the payment method you used.

Add-ons. Extra minute packs, extra storage, the custom domain fee and the WordPress plugin licence are delivered as soon as you buy them. An add-on you have not started to use can be cancelled within 14 days on the terms above. Once used (minutes rendered, storage filled, domain activated, licence connected to a site) it is not refundable. Cancelling a recurring add-on such as extra storage stops the next charge.

After 14 days payments are not refundable, there is no refund or credit for part of a period, and unused plan minutes do not carry over. Bought minute packs carry over from month to month and expire 12 months after purchase.

How to ask for a refund. Open a support ticket (Support in the app, category Billing) or email info@kolreel.com from the address of your account, with the date of the payment. If a technical fault on our side prevented you from using the service for a significant part of a billing period, tell us and we will make it right.

7. Storage and deletion

Deleted videos stay in the recycle bin for 30 days and are then permanently deleted. We may delete content of accounts that remain inactive and unpaid for more than 90 days after reasonable notice. Keep your own copies of important files.

8. Third-party services

Uploading to YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, sharing via WhatsApp, and AI narration through OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure are subject to those services' own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or policies. AI narration counts toward your plan minutes like a recording; if you use your own provider key, that provider bills you directly. You are responsible for how you use synthetic voices, including not presenting them as a real person without consent. The built-in free voices are generated on our own servers with open-source speech models (Kokoro and Piper); they are provided as is, may be limited, queued or changed at any time, and nothing from your script leaves our servers when you use them.

Stock library. The built-in backgrounds, intro clips and music are original KolReel works and may be used in any video you make with KolReel, without attribution. Items you choose through the Pixabay search are provided by Pixabay under the Pixabay Content License: they may be used in your videos, but may not be sold or redistributed on their own, and some uses (for example identifiable people or trademarks) may need extra permission. You are responsible for checking that a stock item suits your use. Anything you upload yourself must be content you have the right to use.

No partnership. KolReel is not affiliated with, sponsored by or a partner of any third-party service it connects to, including Google, YouTube, Meta/WhatsApp, TikTok, Microsoft, Dropbox, Canva, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Pixabay, PayMe, Stripe, PayPal, Green Invoice and sent.dm. Integrations can change or stop if those services change their terms or APIs.

9. Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel; courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
